Firmino will love what Liverpool fans did while he sat out Hud’field game

Liverpool fans stumbled upon a gem when they belted out Bobby Firmino’s ‘si senor’ chant for the first time.

The song caught on so well that the player himself often requests it when he scores goals. The Anfield faithful duly agree every time.

The Brazilian suffered a minor injury prior to the Reds’ demolition of lowly Huddersfield Town in the Premier League and was not included in the match day squad.

That didn’t stop fans Liverpool fans though – they were in a fantastic mood on Friday night and pretty much ran through every song in the book.

One of the chants was, of course, ‘si senor’ and Bobby took notice of the fans.

I think the song is great,” he’s quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo. “I love it and I always listen to it when the fans sing it.

It motivates me more when I’m on the pitch because I think about my family and about winning the games. I think it’s amazing!

Jurgen Klopp isn’t worried about Firmino’s fitness ahead of the Reds’ Champions League clash with Barcelona.

Rumours had been circulating that the forward may be out for some time, but it’s now been confirmed that it’s just a little muscle issue as the manager laughed off suggestions it was a serious injury.
