Fans on Twitter think they know exactly what Roberto Firmino shouted at Mason Holgate

Nothing had happened in the opening 35 minutes of the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton.

That was until Jurgen Klopp’s side were awarded a soft penalty after Adam Lallana was fouled by Mason Holgate in the box.

James Milner scored with his penalty and the blue touch paper had been well and truly lit.

Now, we had a real local derby on our hands.

Minutes later, there was another massive talking point.

Mason Holgate shoved Roberto Firmino into the Liverpool crowd on the touchline, prompting a furious reaction from the Brazilian.

Firmino ran up to confront Holgate and had to be restrained by referee Bobby Madley.

And it was clear that Firmino said something that angered Holgate.

As the Liverpool striker ranted at Holgate, the Evertonian looked shocked at what came out of Firmino’s mouth.

But what did he say?

Well, everyone was talking on Twitter and it seems pretty much everyone was in agreement.

Firmino appears to have said: “Ce ta Louco? Ce ta Louco? Filho da puta.”

Which, of course, translates from Portuguese to: ‘Are you crazy? Are you crazy? Son of a b**ch.’

Of course, this hasn’t been verified but hundreds of people seem to think that’s exactly what he said.
