Everton are reportedly ready to rival Liverpool for the signature of Torino’s Bremer.
The Premier League champions have allegedly identified the 23-year-old as a possible January signing, having lost both Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez to long-term knee injuries.
Liverpool are expected to move for a new centre-back at the start of 2021, with Bremer seemingly fitting the bill, having made a strong start to the 2020-21 campaign with his Italian club.
However, according to the Liverpool Echo, Everton are also interested in the Brazilian, who has a contract with Torino until the summer of 2023.
Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti has been critical of his team’s defending in recent weeks and is allegedly keen to add a new player in that area of the field during the January transfer window.
Bremer has made 48 appearances for his current side since arriving from Atletico Mineiro in 2018.
