European giants could soon make shock move for Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool have been nothing short of brilliant up until this point of the Premier League season.

Jurgen Klopp has led his side to second place on the table and remained unbeaten in all competitions since suffering a shock 2-0 loss to Burnley on the second weekend of the season.

Having been involved in five league matches with five or more goals scored, the Reds have also proved to be an attractive outfit for neutral fans to watch.

Klopp deserves a great deal of credit for using his tactical nous to guide the Reds back towards the upper echelons of the league table.belotti

However, as is often the case when a manager begins making headway in one of the most competitive divisions in world football, Klopp has reportedly caught the eye of other top clubs.

According to the Mirror, the German has been identified as the number one target to take over from Carlo Ancelotti at Bayern Munich as the Bundesliga giants continue struggling.

Pressure is mounting on the former Chelsea boss with his side currently occupying the unfamiliar position of second to leaders Red Bull Leipzig.

Bayern also succumbed to an embarrassing defeat to Rostok in the Champions League during midweek, which has caused a real stir in southern Germany.

With only six points between the Bavarians and Hertha Berlin in seventh, Ancelotti can ill afford not to snap his men out of it.

Irrespective of whether the Italian can turn things around at the Allianz Arena, his more cautious tactical approach has been notably unpopular in comparison to that of the man he replaced, Pep Guardiola.

Supporters throughly enjoyed his intense pressing style, and considering his approach at Liverpool, Klopp could be the ideal candidate to return Bayern to their devastating best.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss signed a huge six-year contract with the Reds at start of the season – but there is no telling how he would react to being presented with the opportunity to take control of the biggest club in his home country.
