Leeds United are interested in the potential signing of on-loan Barnsley man Ryan Kent, according to the reports
The January transfer window is of course now closed so any potential move will have to be left until it re-opens after the season comes to a close but Garry Monk is said to be tracking the 20-year-old.
Kent has hugely impressed during his time at Oakwell where he has been a constant threat all season and he has the trait of a player who can make something happen out of nothing.
When the winger returns to Anfield at the end of the season, he will no doubt have teams lining up for him but Monk is prepared to do whatever he can to put his side at the front of the queue.
Reportedly that the former Swansea manager is preparing to make a £2.5m bid for the young man if Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp decides to cash in.
Kent has come through Liverpool’s academy and made his debut for the club last year in the FA Cup.
He is an England under-20 international with previous experience on loan at Coventry City and Swindon Town.
