Liverpool on-loan winger Ryan Kent may receive a two-match ban for shoving Celtic captain Scott Brown.
The 22-year-old was seen lashing out at Brown in the aftermath of James Forrest’s late winner at Celtic Park.
The on-loan Liverpool man was issued a notice of complaint accusing him of committing a red card offence.
If Rangers choose to contest the ban, a Scottish FA tribunal hearing will take place on Thursday.
Brown was the chief protagonist throughout the Old Firm derby.
Alfredo Morelos was sent off for elbowing him in an off-the-ball incident and the Celtic captain celebrated in front of the travelling fans after the full-time whistle.
Kent raised his hand to Brown’s face, who was also involved in a scuffle with Andy Halliday at full-time.
Halliday was dismissed as well but Kent escaped punished on the day.
