DOMINIC SOLANKE is set to quit Chelsea – and sign for rivals Liverpool.
Solanke has told pals he’s off to Anfield.
But Liverpool could be forced to hand out £8m for the player, according to report.
As he’s aged under 24, Chelsea will want compensation.
And with the talented youngster being highly-rated by the Blues – that figure is likely to sky-rocket.
Solanke originally wanted £50,000-a-week from Chelsea to stay put.
But the academy graduate hasn’t been offered the pay-packet he wants and now looks to be heading off.
The England Under-21 man fancies his chances of breaking into Liverpool’s first-team, with Daniel Sturridge’s future up in the air.
Brendan Rodgers wanted to bring Solanke north of the border to Celtic.
But Glasgow giants can’t match Liverpool’s wage offer and will miss out to the Reds.
Rodgers has turned Moussa Dembele into one of Europe’s hottest properties after signing him on a free from Championship side Fulham.
However he won’t have the same chance with Solanke, with the player heading to Anfield.
