Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic is attracting attention from Croatian league champions Dinamo Zagreb.
Grujic shone in pre-season for Liverpool but has endured a difficult first campaign at Anfield, his progress being derailed by injuries.
He featured in two of the club’s first six Premier League games, but his last first-team appearance in any competition came as a stoppage-time substitute against Leeds in the EFL Cup in November. He was one of our top ten forgotten Premier League players.
The midfielder remains highly-rated however, and Dinamo Zagbreb, who were crowned Prva HNL champions last season and sit second in the table this campaign, have expressed an interest in the 20-year-old.
“I wanted to bring Andrija Zivkovic in from Benfica for €5million, but I failed,” club adviser Zdravko Mamic told Blic.
“Now I want to get Marko Grujic from Liverpool on loan.”
