BARCELONA are reportedly plotting a fresh transfer raid on Liverpool.
The La Liga giants have made a habit of picking up the hottest talent from Anfield in recent years.
Barca have signed Javier Mascherano and Luis Suarez in recent years and in January they swooped to sign Philippe Coutinho in a stunning £142m deal.
And Jurgen Klopp could be set for a busy summer as Europe’s top clubs look to poach his star-studded squad. Reports in Spain suggest that Barca are looking at long-term replacements for Suarez.
The Uruguayan has enjoyed a successful spell at the Nou Camp but there are concerns that his best days are behind him.
Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann has been linked with a move, although the Catalan side face stiff competition from Manchester United.
And according to Don Balon, a Spanish outlet famous for its outlandish transfer claims, they are considering other options.
The report claims that Barcelona’s priority target is Tottenham striker Harry Kane, although they are also considering moves for PSG star Kylian Mbappe and Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino.
It is stated that they’re happy with Suarez until at least 2020 but contingency plans are in place to ensure they have the best possible replacement lined up.
Firmino has been in stunning form for Klopp’s side this season, scoring 27 goals to help Liverpool reach the Champions League final.
