Aston Villa have reportedly turned to Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster in their search for a striker ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Villans missed out on the signing of Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson on Monday, the England international instead choosing to join Premier League rivals Newcastle United.
According to The Sun, Villa boss Dean Smith is now becoming frantic in his search for a goalscorer and has targeted Liverpool academy product Brewster.
Brewster starred during a spell on loan with Swansea City last season, scoring 11 goals in 22 Championship appearances.
The 20-year-old is valued at £20m by the Reds and is also believed to be a target for Sheffield United.
Villa kick off their 2020-21 Premier League campaign with a home match against Sheffield United on September 20.
