As important as it is for Liverpool to bring in some star quality players this summer, it’s equally as important that they keep hold of their best players, namely Philippe Coutinho.
The Brazilian has been linked with Barcelona but it appears as if the La Liga giants aren’t going to make a move for Coutinho this summer, but PSG have made their interest known.

According to Téléfoot, the Ligue 1 side have contacted Liverpool regarding a transfer for Coutinho, but the Reds, unwilling to allow him to leave this summer, have quoted them a price of €100m for his transfer.
That equates to £86.7m in today’s market, just shy of the world transfer record set last summer when Paul Pogba joined Manchester United for £89m from Juventus.
Liverpool will hope that their asking price will put an end to any interest, but of the few clubs that could realistically meet such a fee, PSG are certainly among them.
