Premier League pair Arsenal and Liverpool are both in the running to sign Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid, according to a report.
The Brazil international has scored just three times in 23 games for the Spanish giants this term, 10 of those appearances being starts.
Spanish outlet Diario Madridista suggests that Madrid are looking to offload the 20-year-old this month in order to free up funds to sign Kylian Mbappe in the summer.
Ironically, it is claimed that Mbappe’s club Paris Saint-Germain have showed an interest in signing Vinicius, who has spent three seasons at the Bernabeu.
Arsenal and Liverpool are also said to be weighing up a move, with the Reds having previously reached out to the player’s agent regarding a transfer last summer.
The Gunners could pull off a double raid on Los Blancos as Martin Odegaard is also believed to be high up on their list of January targets.
