It’s not any consolation for Liverpool fans today, who’ve had to watch Swansea somehow beat us 3-2 at Anfield, but Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann was mightily impressed with the best player on the pitch: Roberto Firmino.
Our Brazilian scored twice, the second of which was an absolute beauty, but despite his efforts, we couldn’t even snatch a draw against the relegation battlers who bagged three in the second-half.
Firmino was brilliant, but sadly, his team-mates, especially Liverpool’s defenders, let him down.
His performance was noticed by Griezmann though, which will at least irritate Manchester United fans hoping to sign the Frenchman.
Firmino is : TOP player ?

And according to The Mirror, Griezmann, who is a boyhood Red Devils fan, will be handed the famous No7 if he completes a move to Old Trafford.
The likes of David Beckham, George Best, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona and Cristiano Ronaldo have all donned the famous No7 over the years.
