AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah is hoping to join Liverpool this summer, according to Gianluca di Marzio.
Salah has reportedly told Roma he wants to join the Reds, but is left waiting as Liverpool are yet to agree a fee with the Serie A side.
The Mirror report Roma want £42 million for Salah, a club record fee for the Reds.
The situation has remained the same for the past week, and fans are right to be sceptical whether a deal will happen at this point despite the player’s preference for a move.
One man who is supremely confident it will, is Salah’s fellow Egyptian, former Premier League striker Mido.
Mido, currently working as a manager in his homeland, told King Fut he is sure Salah will get his move to Anfield.
He said: “Salah will definitely move to Liverpool. It’s just a matter of time.
“Liverpool’s style of play suits Salah perfectly and Jurgen Klopp’s style suits the Egyptian winger.”
Salah scored an impressive 15 Serie A goals for Roma last season, and is keen to succeed in England after a brief, failed spell at Chelsea.
The 24-year-old winger now has to continue to wait patiently. The ball is in Liverpool’s court.
