£40m star’s latest transfer hint offers hope to Liverpool over Chelsea and Man Utd

Tiemoue Bakayoko has caused confusion about his future after liking a tweet speculating about where he might end up this summer.

The Frenchman has been linked with a move to Chelsea for months now but reports emerged in the last 24 hours that Manchester United were interested in him.

Fans didn’t buy the rumours but now Bakayoko has thrown an extra layer of uncertainty over everything.

The £40m-rated Monaco midfielder liked a tweet claiming that Chelsea had pulled out of a deal for him while Man United were hesitating and – most shockingly of all – that he had contacted Liverpool himself about a move.

Chelsea fans have been frustrated about the lack of confirmation over a move for Bakayoko, despite the fact it seemed he was destined to join the Blues this summer.

And after missing out on Romelu Lukaku to Man United already, supporters will be absolutely furious if the 22-year-old heads to Anfield instead of Stamford Bridge.

This news comes on the same day that Diego Costa has apparently been left out of the Blues’ pre-season squad, as he closes in on a return to Atletico Madrid.
