4-3-3: Liverpool Strongest Predicted Xl vs Man City – Attacker Axed For Two Changes

Liverpool are expected to make two changes to their starting XI for the Premier League clash against Manchester City.

The Reds travel to Man City on Sunday in the Premier League and will be hoping to consolidate their place in the top four.

Jurgen Klopp is set to make two changes from the team that edged past Burnley 2-1 in the last game.

Dejan Lovren and Roberto Firmino are set to return to the side, while Ragnar Klavan and attacker Divock Origi drop out.

The Merseyside club will hope to have a physical advantage over Man City, who will have less time to rest due to their Champions League last-16 clash with Monaco on Wednesday night.

Simon Mignolet is expected to retain his spot in goal against Man City, while Loris Karius waits patiently on the bench.

Klopp is expected to name his favoured back four this season as Lovren returns to full fitness to take his spot in the defence.

He will line-up against Nathaniel Clyne, Joel Matip and James Milner if he returns.

Meanwhile, it’s set to be the same midfield trio of Adam Lallana, Georginio Wijnaldum and Emre Can, with the latter pair scoring in the victory over Burnley.

The Reds captain Jordan Henderson remains out injured and is not expected to be involved with England during the upcoming international break.

That leaves Firmino to return from a minor injury and play alongside Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane in the frontline.

Origi was given a rare chance to spearhead the attack in Burnley, but he failed to make an impact and is likely to be dropped once again to the bench.
