3 things you simply must know about potential Reds signing Mahmoud Dahoud

If there was any doubt that the Reds need to sign any players this month before the weekend, those doubts have surely gone out of the window.

Potentially, though, following them out said window were our title hopes as we conspired to lose 3-2 at home to Swansea in a result that made next to no sense.

The Reds were slack in their passing and looked tired early on suggesting our squad needs some serious injections of pace, vigour and new thinking before the window slams shut.

There’s not long to go, though, so Jurgen Klopp had better act quickly on links like the one claiming Mahmoud Dahoud is a target.

But, who exactly he is? Here are three things you need to know about the midfielder…

HE’S A TOP PASSER

This guy will pass and pass and pass so is very much your typical continental footballer.

He has the ability, despite having only just turned 21-years-old, to control football games and that would complement our midfield nicely. Jordan Henderson has that role at the moment but we want to see him burst forward more so signing Dahoud would unlock new dimensions to our central positions.
