Seriously, do Liverpool really need more attacking players?
For the Reds this season has all been about the wonderfully lethal frontline built by Jurgen Klopp of late, one that could well potentially fire them to a first ever Premier League title.
With even England international Daniel Sturridge struggling to get a look-in, links with Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne have only sent our Merseyside locals even further into dreamland.
Though it’s not quite apparent as to where the Italian international would potentially fit into Klopp’s plans, there’s little doubt he’s a hugely talented player likely to improve any squad he’s a part of.
As the January transfer window fast approaches, the proverbial rumour mill will never stop churning and perhaps Klopp would be well advised to dip into the New Year sales.
After all, could they be the impetus needed to win the Premier League title?
That being said, here are TWO players who could follow Insigne to Liverpool in January.
With Klopp obviously having such a Bundesliga related influence on the Reds these days, the notion of drafting in a formidable partner for Joel Matip in central defence is a potentially title-winning one.
The German international is resolute and powerful, giving the Reds a formidable option in the air at both ends of the pitch, as well as comfortable enough in possession to play out from the back.
Former Atletico Madrid forward Arda Turan has struggled ever since moving to Barcelona, with a certain Luis Suarez seemingly incapable of playing badly, along with both Lionel Messi and Neymar.
The Turk has long been linked with Liverpool and reports from Spain suggest Klopp is keen on rescuing him from his Camp Nou nightmare.
Should Daniel Sturridge leave as linked, Turan would certainly be a more than capable replacement in the forward department.
