With Liverpool top of the Premier League table at the moment, our resident Reds fans are thinking of what could be this season.
Certainly, they know there is a long way to go before the club lift their first league title since 1990, if they manage to do so, and so getting carried away with a one point lead at the top is not on the agenda right now.
What they are pleased with, though, is how happy and settled the squad is looking at the moment as manager Jurgen Klopp appears to have fully made his mark on the side.
The Reds attack has real verve whilst their defence is starting to improve and those two factors combined, history tells us, usually make for success.
It remains to be seen, then, what the Reds do this season but they should be looking at how to improve and strive for more once the January transfer window opens and our landlord reckons signing these TWO would help do that…
Whilst James Milner has done very well in his new position at left back it would still make sense for the Reds to sign a more orthodox option for that area.
The £20m-rated German international is a class player down that left side and defends first before also displaying his good attacking ability.
He signed a new contract in the summer with FC Koln but a move to title challenging Liverpool could be too good to turn down.
The £9m-rated Boudebouz is one of the chief chances creators around at the moment which isn’t bad for a little known Montpellier team.
He can pick up the spaces like the best of the Liverpool players do in between the opposition’s defence and midfield and can drop passes on a plate for the attackers.
He’d certainly give Liverpool even more attacking threat up-front, which is a rather imposing thought.
